Draper, professor and head of the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and director of M.I.T's Instrumentation Laboratory, inspects a mockup of the guidance and navigation system the Laboratory is designing -- in collaboration with participating contractors -- for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's Project Apollo spacecraft that will take three Americans to the moon and back."
