Color photograph of a holiday card featuring a news clipping including a portrait of Rosalie M. Karapetoff Cobb receiving an award, and a brief article about her winning the award from the Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry. Original caption: "Ithaca Journal Wednesday, May 29, 1968 Woman is Honored Miss R. M. Karapetoff Cobb of Cambridge, Mass., widow of Prof. Emeritus Vladimir Karapetoff of Cornell and a retired chemist, has twice been honored this year by the Technical Assn., of the Pulp & Paper Industry. She was one of the nine members promoted to the rank of Fellow by the association, and this month became the first woman to receive its Coating & Graphic Arts Division Award for Contributions to the technical advance of the industry. Her late husband, who died Jan. 11, 1948, in New York City, is buried in East Lawn Cemetery. He was an electrical engineer, a musician, and a reformer who ran for Mayor of Ithaca with the slogan 'Bring an ocean to Ithaca'". Original caption 2: "Season's Greetings R. M. K.
