Thomas Edison's wife, Mina Miller Edison, seated at a desk at the Republican Women's Headquarters in New York City. Original caption: "Mrs. Edison, Wife of Famous Inventor, Out To Aid Hoover. Mrs. Thomas A. Edison, wife of the electrical wizard, who has become interested in politics, and is advocating the election of Herbert Hoover, visited the headquarters of the National Women's Committee for Hoover, and gave an interview. It is said that Mrs. Edison is casting her first presidential vote this fall. Photo shows Mrs. Thomas A. Edison at Republican Women's Headquarters in New York City."
