Original Caption: "The home of the late Hetty Green at Bellows Falls, VT., which figures in a tax fight started by a group of residents. They charge the town is owed $4,000,000 from the estate of the country's wealthiest woman and that she had entered into an agreement with certain town officials whereby she consented to remain a resident of Bellows Falls, a village in the town of Rockingham, on condition that she be taxed only on $12,000 real estate and $100,000 personal property. She left an estate of more than $60,000,000."
