Original caption: "Richard A. Kane, senior at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, who has established a $1200 scholarship to help some high school student enter M.I.T. next fall. Young Kane, who will graduate from M.I.T.'s science-teacher course next month, has named the scholarship in honor of the principal of Lynbrook (Long Island, N.Y.) high school, where Kane graduated in 1951. He will pay for the scholarship out of his next year's earnings. For release in Morning Papers of Wednesday, May 16, 1956".
