Original caption: "Members of The Ford Motor Company Fund Scholarship Board met in Detroit June 26 and 27 to determine the 70 sons or daughters of Ford employes [sic] who will receive four-year college or university scholarships this year. Seated around the table, left to right, are Gordon Gray, president of the University of North Carolina; James R. Killian, Jr., president of Massachusetts Institute of Technology; J. L. Morrill president of the University of Minnesota; William McPeak, executive director of the Fund; Millicent McIntosh, president of Barnard College; John S. Dickey, president of Dartmouth College; William E. Stevenson, president of Oberlin College; and William Pine, director of the Scholarship Program. The board examined scholastic records and the results of competitive examinations taken by all applicants. Winners probably will be announced within two weeks.
