Original caption: "These three scientists from the Greater Boston area were key workers in the development of the Recoverable Interplanetary Space Probe recently announced as a possibility for future round-trips to Mars. Shown above with a model of the interplanetary vehicle which may some day photograph the surface of Mars are, left to right, Dr. J.H. Laning, Stoneham, who did much of the theoretical work regarding the vehicle; Milton B. Trageser, Waltham, group leader on the project , and Dr. Richard H.
