Original caption: "Charles Sigwart, 1967, at left, was blinded by the explosion of homemade rocket fuel, but looked forward throughout his convalescence to returning to M.I.T., and kept in touch with Track Coach Arthur Farnham. With other runners guiding him, he placed in every cross country meet last fall."
