Peter S. Miller, Gordon Mann, Nathan Hapton, and WIlliam Edniston lay Oliver R. Smoot, Jr. down on the Harvard Bridge as part of a fraternity stunt.

Original Caption: "Peter S. Miller, Oliver Smoot, Gordon Mann, Nathan Hapton, WIlliam Edniston"; "Oliver Smoot Jr., class of 1962, was laid 'end-to-end' on the Harvard Bridge by brothers of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity in 1958. The bridge was determined to be 364.4 Smoots 'plus one ear' across. The Smoot marks are repainted twice yearly."
