Original caption: "M.I.T. Receives Astrophysical Observatory Shown above is an artist's rendering of the new George R. Wallace, Jr., Astrophysical Observatory which is being built by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology on a hilltop in Westford, Mass. The Wallace Observatory will contain a 24-inch telescope and a 16-inch telescope. The observatory will be linked electronically to the 120-foot radio telescope at M.I.T.'s Haystack Observatory in nearby Tyngsboro, Mass."
