View from above of the display of the original 1903 flyer built by Orville and Wilbur Wright and first flown on December 17, 1903. The display, arranged by Lester D. Gardner (SB 1898), was located in the newly constructed Steam Laboratory of the Department of Mechanical Engineering (In 2022, this is basement and mezzanine level of Building 3, where Rooms 038, 046 and 050 are located.) Several visitors are seen on the right.
