Description

Half model of the turtle-deck sloop 'Scrapper III,' designed as a fast cruising boat by George Owen for F.W. (Casey) Baldwin of Nova Scotia. The model shows the distinctive arched turtle deck, which added strength to the framing and additional headroom, above an early 20th century yacht form with a fine bow and stern, long overhangs, and deep keel.
