Description

Model of a large tugboat built for the US Army during World War II. This model is based on vessels built by the Marietta Manufacturing Company in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. The model shows lines typical of an ocean-going tug, with a plumb bow and wide, rounded body, a large deckhouse and large smokestack. It is painted gray above the waterline and red beneath, with brass accents.
