This drafting set is from the archive of Howe, Manning and Almy, one of the first woman-founded architecture firms in the United States, established in 1926 by three graduates of MITl: Lois Lilley Howe (established her own form in 1900), Eleanor Manning O'Connor (who joined Howe in 1913), and Mary Almy (who joined in 1926).
