Some pencil drafting marks are visible.
Drawn for the National Trust for Historic Preservation. 69-R-1.
The schooner Ernestina was built in 1894 at the James & Tarr Shipyard in Essex, Massachusetts. First named Effie M. Morrissey, the schooner worked the Grand Banks cod fishery until the 1920s. She subsequently made scientific expeditions to the Arctic and, renamed Ernestina, carried passengers and freight between the United States and the Cape Verde Islands. This plan was drawn by naval architect and historian William A. Baker for a restoration in 1978.
