Edgerton, Germeshausen and Grier, Inc.

Description

Edgerton, Germeshausen and Grier was fonded in 1931 by Harold Eugene Edgerton and Kenneth Germeshausen, with Herbert E. Grier joining in 1934. EG&G was a defense contractor. They developed the high-speed photography technology used to photograph test blasts for the Manhattan Project. Technology from this was applied to nuclear weapon triggers.
