Description

This instrument consists of a silver metal case with a round cut out on one side that reveals a light bulb recessed into the case. There is a fan-shaped meter labeled “output voltage” under the cut out for the lamp, and a red light above the meter. The back of the case has an electrical cord, two plus sockets, a red light, a switch, a push button, and a fuse tube.

This flash was likely one of Edgerton’s early experimental flash designs, and likely dates to the 1930s or 40s.
