Description

Tray A (lower half) of the Apollo Guidance Computer 202 used in the thermal vacuum test command module 2TV-1.

The name plate says "Apollo G&N System," serial # RAY-9, Part # 2001100. One of the connectors has another serial number, RAY-2, on it, but that is not the serial number for the whole computer.

The computer was designed by the MIT Instrumentation Laboratory and manufactured by Raytheon.

The lower half of this computer was on display at the National Air and Space Museum but is now stored at MIT.
