Description

Model of the steamboat Froude, a 1/5 size copy of the US revenue cutter "Manning" that was built by MIT for naval architecture tests in the Charles River in the early twentieth century. Model is of solid construction, with a white hull, salmon decking and copper below the waterline, mounted in a vitrine.
