Description

This weight set consists of a wooden box containing metal weights stamped from 1 to 50 grams. The weights have button-shaped knobs, and are inset in the box. The box also contains flat aluminum weights under a glass bar, and a pair of tweezers in an indentation in the box. The box is hinged, and lined in purple velvet on the inside.

These weights were used with balances to measure the weight of specimens.
