Sound Scriber
Maker
Two packages of green vinyl recording discs for the Sound Scriber dictating recorder.
Unlike other disc-based recording devices of the era, the Sound Scriber embossed the surface of a record rather than cutting into it. The embossed surface was playable with the Sound Scriber's listening head. Machines like these remained popular until the advent of cheap magnetic tape recording in the mid 1960s.
