Description

Mink was the first of the Buzzards Bay 25 class to be launched by the Herreshoff Manufacturing Company. One of five one-design yachts built for the Beverly Yacht Club, Mink raced in Buzzard's Bay.

After a long career and several alterations, Mink was restored to her as-built condition in 2014. This included cotton sails, galvanized fasteners, and the careful reconstruction of minor idiosyncracies from construction by the Herreshoff yard. Mink is still sailing today.
